Winter School: Silicon to Systems

About The Program

The CREST Winter School is a two-week residential program designed to build strong foundations in semiconductor technologies, fabrication processes, and system-level design. Hosted at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, the program combines expert lectures, hands-on lab sessions, cleanroom demonstrations, and workshops on device fabrication, nanotechnology, materials science, VLSI tools, and AI/ML applications in chip design. It is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students, research scholars, faculty members, and industry professionals with basic knowledge in electronics or related fields. Participants also engage in guided projects and group activities, helping them explore research ideas, develop practical skills, and contribute to India’s growing semiconductor ecosystem.
