This partnership aims to foster academic excellence through joint research initiatives, the exchange of knowledge, and the development of technologies that address global challenges. 

To increase the Semiconductor research base & promote translation of academic innovations into marketable products & technologies, CREST is funding several Strategic Research Projects under various domains under Semiconductor technology verticals to Project Investigators (PI) across the campuses of BITS Pilani.

To enhance semiconductor research and development across the institute, CREST has invited applications for the TapeOut Project Support (TOPS) Scheme.  The scheme aims to support advanced semiconductor design and fabrication (“tapeout”) projects, encourage interdisciplinary collaboration, and enhance BITS Pilani’s design-to-fabrication capabilities. Preference will be given to proposals that demonstrate clear fabrication outcomes, particularly those involving industry or external tapeout partners.
