Schematic representation of the colorimetric detection strategy of clinical and synthetic oligonucleotides using capped gold nanoparticles(Au NPs)
Successfully synthesized different polymeric capped gold nanoparticles and tested out their stability and shelf life.
Tested out the colorimetric compatibility of the polymeric capped gold nanoparticles with synthetic oligonucleotide.
Tested out the effect of other capping agent on improving the shelf life of gold nanoparticles.
Carried out the colorimetric analysis of capped gold nanoparticles with synthetic oligonucleotides and clinical samples to assess the sensitivity and efficiency.
Limit of detection analysis was also performed to determine the lowest viral load at which detection was possible with the synthesized gold nanoparticles.
